Hi Janis
Thanks for your e-mail I was very upset to think of the demise of the North Star
it was such a very big part of my growing up I will have to let my family know.
I have found out this snap and I am going to try and send it to you. I think I am
about 5-6 yrs old such a lovely little girl wish I was that age now. Mick and I are
going to France on Monday for a bit of shopping we enjoy a day there once or
twice a year it will give me a chance to practice what I have learnt.
I look forward to hearing from you and news of Brentford, keep in touch.

Subject: Emailing: Red Lion Pub 1988
Found a photo of the Red Lion pub before it was pulled down to make way for Macdonald's,
despite the Red Lion being one of the first pubs of it's kind. When it was built, business had
dropped off in recent years. "When it was designed, as a music house, there was nothing else
like it in London, But what people want out of pubs now is different. I wish I could find a photo
of the old Red Lion.
