Brentford Railway Station c. 1910, looking
westwards. The station opened in 1849 on
the London ans South Western Railway's loop
line from Barnes to Hounslow.In 1950 it was
renamed Brentford Central Station.

The Station has been altered and is still
being altered. I used to use this railway
station on my way to Chiswick Grammar
School in the 1940's, my grandchildren
used this railway to make the same journey
to the Grammar school after it became a
comprehensive school for Boys and Girls.
