BOSTON ROAD
AS IT WAS
and
AS IT IS NOW
Boston Road, looking south towards Park Baptist
Church, c.1900. The house next to the church was
demolished for the construction of the Great West
Road in the early 1920's. The church opened on
this site in 1855, having been founded in 1799 in
a house in the Market Place. They moved to a chapel
in the north east corner of the Market Place in
1808 and used the court house between c.1851 and
1855. Boston Park Road is the narrow turning
between the two houses. The house on the left was
demolished c.1962 for the building of the M4
motorway. The Turriff office block of Badgers
Ltd now occupy the site.

The view is now more built on than before, the
trees and greenery are in abundance.
