CROMWELL PLACE
AS IT WAS
and
AS IT IS NOW
Cromwell Place was part of Troy Town and was
situated off Back Lane, by the Junction with
St Paul's Road, seen right. The house on the
right was Cromwell House, which in 1893, when
this photograph was taken was the premises of
James West, chimney sweep.

Troy Town is now a Residential Flat area combined
with the rear of a Supermarket and a bus terminus
and St. Paul's school.
