AS IT WAS
and
AS IT IS NOW
The Old Brentford Cage, situated in front of
Ferry Square, by the junction of Ferry Lane,

fire Station was built on the site. Erected
in 1813, it was used to detain people who had
committed a crime befor their apperance in
the magistrates Court.

The fire station was in use for many years
until they amalgamated with Chiswick, Ealing
and Hounslow. It was used as offices and is
now being advertise for renting or let.
