Brentford American Legion
celebrates 85th BY CONTRIBUTOR Brentford American Legion members celebrated its
85th birthday recently. In charge of the cake were
Laura Braun, president, and Gary Sandquist, commander.
Marland Eldredge and Delvin Olson (left to right)
were presented with 50-year certificates by Paul
Norton, District 5 commander.
Braun presented the blue-star banner to Kara Ketttering
and her children, Portia and Pierce. Her husband Scott
is serving in Iraq with the 2d Bn 147th FA. Also receiving
the blue star banner were Kay and Gary Sandquist, Scott’s parents.
